Simple Lifestyle Changes To Support Your Immune System Holistically!

Last week, on 1st of April, I did a special group session with all my clients and some of you that replied to last week’s newsletter. I wanted to keep the first one with a smaller audience, as I had no idea how it would go 😊
I had a general idea on what to talk about, however the meditation and clearing was intuitively led. Instead of planning the meditation, I decided to tune in and be guided by the inner voice. I felt everyone’s energy and was lucky to receive personal messages from most of the people who joined. Feedback is a gift! I read them all and they made me feel even more gratitude. I am sharing some of them below. And your messages encouraged me to do it again, I will tune in and come up with more free sessions during these quarantine days, meditating together is so powerful 😀

We talked about the spiritual meaning of viruses, the immune system and Heart Chakra and during the talk I shared a video… and this week I want to share this video with everyone.
How to help your immune system is a hot topic right now. I have read many articles and seen many videos about the immune system. This 4-minute video was the one that hit me hardest! I would like to share what I felt after watching it, seeing your immune system under a microscope can work wonders if you look for the messages from different perspectives.
Here are the 4 messages that I got from this 4-minute video:
1. I am protected!
My first feeling was a deep gratitude to my immune system for being healthy and I felt protected. All those cells are fighting for me and obviously, I am not alone in this game! You can support your immune system further with a simple daily affirmation that will talk to your subconscious mind “I am protected and my immune system is strong.”
2. I am willing to drink 2.5L per day!
Approximately 60% of our body is water and doctors have been telling us to drink minimum 2L water every day! I am used to drinking that much water due to healing sessions, as belief testing only works if you are hydrated. However, after seeing this video, now I release how the cells are floating in this water and I can support them just by increasing my water consumption. I know you will all say, ‘yes I know and I drink enough water every day.’ Please start measuring how much you drink; you will probably realize you don’t drink as much as you think. After watching the video, I talked to my reiki teacher and my mother to increase their water consumption. They both told me that they drink water and I asked them to measure, see and drink 2.5L. After just 3 days, they both told me that after measuring they realised that they are actually drinking less than 2L and even taking it up to 2L was quite hard. So, I highly recommend to measure it and try to increase to a healthy level. 2.5L might be too much for you, then start with aiming for 2L 🙂
3. To help my immune system I need to take necessary rest
In the video, it mentions that stress is not helping our immune system. We need to reduce stress.
Working from home started a new experience for most of us; it sounds less stressful however, I find that it is actually more stressful for many of us, here is why:
Working from home during lockdown came with additional responsibilities, cooking 3 times, taking care of home schooling, cleaning… And at the same time, you need to work. But when you check social media, you see that all your friends or colleagues are doing home challenges 🤔 And you feel the pressure of doing something extra when you work from home. It is easier to burn out with all those responsibilities and with the pressure of doing something online too.
However, the reality is we need to rest more than ever. We are all different in terms of rest, for some people it is yoga, for some it is meditation. For me, rest is doing nothing and watching Avatar (it is my favorite tv series to watch when I need to rest and I wish to be a water bender)… Just tune in to see what is right for you and take the extra rest you need to reduce your stress level.
4. It is time to increase your consumption of fruits and veggies!
I am not a nutritionist and to be honest it was one of my weaknesses, so I am not the right person to talk about what to eat 😉 I can only share that I am putting a lot of effort into healthy eating these days. When I don’t push myself to be mindful on what I eat, I find myself eating junk food! I literally started eating fruits every day after I got sick in Jan 2020! If you are following a healthy diet, then well done, you can congratulate yourself on supporting your immune system and be grateful for your habits.
If you tend to eat more junk food when you are in home quarantine, then find a way to remind yourself to support your immune system. I am using online recipes and many herbs during quarantine to make my veggies more appealing. I also watched a couple of documentaries to shift my perception on what I eat. It is getting better everyday 🙂
