Reflections on health + healing and a new podcast interview for 2022

Happy New Year! Hope you had an amazing New Year break and start this year with health and fun!

My new year started with a lot of rest and sleep, this is why I am starting this year a bit late 😊

Both me and my husband tested Covid positive after new year (probably Omicron) and we are in home quarantine for 10 days. It was time to practice what I teach: “ listen to your body, your inner wisdom knows what to do”… and my inner wisdom told me to REST and SLEEP as much as I could.

I slept almost 10 hours during the night and 3 hours during day. I guess all the energy work and water helped the immune system, as I had no fever, no cough, no loss of taste…One main symptom: extreme tiredness. My body did not want to move so I kept sleeping 🙏

Now, on a brighter note... 🎉

We have immunity and a green pass for next 5 months 😊 And also…

  1. Together we can make it easier:

Giovanni and I got Covid together...but somehow when he was hit with a high fever, I was feeling good, and when I was hit with tiredness — he was already better. So one up, one down…It was nice to have someone so close to you, we rested together, read together, watched movies together… and I realized sometimes I got upset for so little things in a relationship…

  2. Help is there when you need it the most:

One of my friends sent us homemade soup. She is a new mom, Turkish, and she literally sent us a typical Turkish mum soup on the day that I was hit by symptoms the most (even though I didn’t ask for it). IT gave me the booster of mum love. So, to my friend Ozlem, thank you from my heart ❤️

  3. Health affirmation really work, we just need time to see the results:

2 years ago I had a terrible cold + flu where my fever was 39 degrees for 3 days...and then I had cough for almost a month.

After that, I worked on my immune system releasing limiting beliefs and adding health affirmations. I was amazed to skip Covid with no major symptoms, especially my biggest fears; fever and cough. Yes, affirmations take time...but it is amazing to see how they can support you when you need them.

I hope you all start adding health affirmations to your desk, or laptop or your mirror!

Finally, I'm excited to share with you an interview I did for the Health & Nutrition Podcast.

Funny fact is: we recorded it before new year and it aired this week. But what better a time to talk about health?! 😊
