3 tips to set goals and achieve them with ease!

We have an exciting new year ahead of us and usually holiday season is to time to set the goals for next year 😊…

Therefore, today I want to talk about how to set a realistic targets that does not create stress on us for 2022. Here are 3 tips to set an exciting and realistic and fun goal!

1. Start with a hobby or interest that you really love!

Sometimes we want to start hobbies just because they are popular. We are heavily guided by social media and we believe that we should do it as well.

Your soul will only feel nourished if you listen to what it needs… Think of something that is a real desire for you, that you really love and start from there.

Let’s explore it with a real example:

For me, this year would be the year of speaking Italian in a joyful way 😊

2. Work on a smart goal!

You probably know what a SMART goal is from either business schools or business meetings. I know most of us are trying to run away from corporate culture, however there is no harm in taking the best practices 🤗

The best way is to check the steps of SMART goal setting by journaling.

Let’s check if my example is SMART:
I would like to be able to understand and speak Italian in daily life by the end of the Christmas break of 2022. Any sooner target is not realistic as I have a Luxembourgish speaking test to focus on until March. I can measure my success through being able to speak with Giovanni’s grandmother without any translation help on Christmas family gathering 😊

3. Focus on the desired outcome rather than struggles!

If you want to change your life, there is only 1 way. Taking action! It is harder to take action in the beginning; the reason is you do not see the desired outcome yet. When you start practicing yoga, you will not be flexible on day 1. However, after 3 months you reach a level where you cannot believe your progress!

In order to force yourself and get out of your comfort zone, only your desire will give you the motivation!

Let’s explore...

What is my Desire: At home we communicate in English and we are living outside of Italy, so my desire is not related to my husband. It is something beyond…

In my healing journey, my heart chakra was the hardest. I had a traumatic experience with families involved in the game of marriage. This Italian family, especially WOMEN of the family, healed my heart in so many ways. They teached me a different connection of mother & son, and a deeper connection of bigger family is possible.

My real desire is to be able to speak with the women of the family in their language, in their mother tongue, as a gratitude to the mothers…

With this opportunity, I am wishing everyone a happy, joyful time to dream during new year break! If this newsletter inspired you to journal on your desires , I have a surprise for you…

Here is a FREE mindful journaling exercise: New Year, New Joyful Me!

Initially, I was only going to surprise those who joined my last Full Moon Meditation of the year with this gift. However, I decided that I wanted to show GRATITUDE to every one in my community 🙏
