Today is My Birthday!

Today is my birthday 🙂

I always feel like this day is the perfect opportunity to reflect on the last year and remember all the good memories life has given me along the way.

Often, we don’t stop to reflect on the good things, instead we choose to be self-critical towards ourselves and what we have achieved. I always say to my clients (and myself) “If the voice in your head was a friend, you would never talk to her again! Someone constantly criticizing what you do and only seeing lack”.

It took me years of mindfulness work to shift my perception and start seeing the world from a glass half-full not half-empty perspective.  I shared some tips on how to do this last week and this week I took action on one of those exact tips, by taking some time to reflect back.

When I first started this newsletter, it was based on the guidance and encouragement of people I worked with. I have always loved receiving individual messages from everyone who takes the time to read it, and especially when they have practiced a tip or tool I have shared. Hearing people’s feedback has kept me motivated week after week to keep showing up and sharing🙏. So, with that in mind I am asking for a little birthday gift from you all, just 5 minutes of your time to share your feedback.

At the moment my main way of working with individuals has been through 1:1 work via a 3 month self-healing journey with 1-1 private sessions, but I have always been looking for ways to scale my work and spread the message that “self-healing is possible”.

I started 2020 by taking a sabbatical so I could go deeper into my own healing and also give myself space to explore ideas that were coming through. I am so excited to announce that I’m close to wrapping up a long-awaited NEW programme  for this fall, something that feels aligned with this unique time…

Before I finalise the programme, I want to make sure I have covered everything and I need your help. I would be so grateful if you could give 5 minutes of your time to answer the questions in this survey and write what comes to your heart.

Thank you in advance - I really appreciate your words and your time!

Before I sign off, here is a photo of me at my last birthday, a bit tipsy but enjoying life! Hope I get some better shots this year! 🙂

Feel free to forward this post to the people you want to share it with! And if you are reading this as a forward link, welcome! You can subscribe here for more! :)

With love,
Gul
