1. If you want to strengthen your relationship and make peace at home with your partner

We have to be with our partners all day long during the lockdown and it can create tension and fights more often. I faced difficult weeks as well (I hear you during our sessions, and I feel you on my skin). I've spent some time re-reading the parts that I underlined last time; it made me realise how unique we are in our perception of love. Sometimes we fight over nothing… There is a famous quote that I use frequently use in workshops “It is not what you say, it is how you say it”.  I recommend this book to people who have relationship issues. However, during this difficult time, it demonstrates that how you say it makes all the difference and strengthen your relationship. It helped me to bring joy and understanding to my lockdown last week, hope it resonates the same with you…

Also, it applies to remote communications as well! If you are in lockdown in different countries and you can only communicate through phone, these techniques can definitely make your communication easier.

2. If you want to face your shadows and big deeper to let your light shine

Oh boy, I still remember the time I read this book. It was 2015 and I was on a self-discovery trip to Latin America; Rio de Janeiro and Argentina. It was my first long solo trip and I had no idea how to spend 3 weeks alone. This was the book I took with me! I also bought a new journal and completed all the exercises in the book! The writer repeated the message; please do not give up reading. It has great insights, valuable exercises to practice and inspiring life stories… If you are alone in the lockdown, it could be the best time to read it. ☺️

3. If you want to lose yourself in an amazing novel to find your own value rather than society

People are always surprised when I say that Ayn Rand is one of the greatest writers in my opinion and I read the Atlas Shrugged series as a healer. I read The Fountainhead and Atlas series when I was 23 years old and I am still grateful for the time I spent reading them.

This amazing novel can give you the perspective of individualism. Ayn Rand said that the theme of The Fountainhead is “individualism versus collectivism, not in politics, but in man's soul.” We are going through a time where we have no distractions and now is the chance for some of us to realize how following your rational judgment and values can bring you happiness. This book is especially for the ones who can't read personal development books due to a lack of focus. The characters are so strong that they will grab your attention!
