How Mindfulness leads to happier staff and less burn out
Last week, we held our first Monthly Meditation Session for Colgate-Palmolive.
It is part of a long term project that we kicked off with an in-person workshop in May.
This 1-hour. online monthly meditation session focused on a specific mindfulness topic followed by a meditation session. These workshops bridge the gap between theory and practice.
💡 Why it is important to bring the Meditation practice to workplace?
You can read about "how to bake bread", but you won't truly understand the process until you bake your first loaf. The experience of doing it is completely different to learning the theory behind it!
Similarly, our short, focused meditation sessions help employees experience the benefits firsthand.
Meditation has numerous advantages — with STRESS REDUCTION being a key one.
A meta-analysis published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that mindfulness meditation programs can reduce psychological stress, including anxiety and depression, by an average of 20-30%.
I would like to thank to Colgate-Palmolive and the visionary HR lead for making this possible. One-time-quick fixes will help you in the short-term, but only consistency and long term vision can elevate results.

Research shows numerous benefits of Mindfulness practices for companies as well. There is a recent paper related to “Increased Job Satisfaction and Employee Wellbeing”...
Data: A study published in the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology found that employees who participated in a mindfulness program reported a 20% increase in job satisfaction and a 15% reduction in burnout levels.
