Powerful journaling exercise for self-reflection and intuitive planning
Last Sunday was my birthday 🥳🥳
So I've doing an internal assessment of my last year to date!
I'm always so amazed by how this simple exercise can give me so much realization and positive vibes. And I wanted to share it with you, you, too.
Maybe you can use it on your next birthday (or perhaps even this week for a more general, half-year internal assessment 😊)
📖 Here are my Powerful Journaling Prompts for Internal Birthday Assessment (Half Year assessment) 📖
✍️ Question 1:
What happened over the last year? What were the major events occurred in my life?
(This question helps you to review and remember all of the journey: the good and the bad).
✍️ Question 2:
What was my ONE main struggle and/or resentment over the last year? And what did I learn from this experience?
(This question helps you to realize what has hurt you the most. And if you are over the experience, then it is an opportunity to celebrate the lessons!)

🔴 Did you find lingering feelings of heaviness or resentfulness while you were journaling? This is an amazing opportunity to let go of the burden with the following steps:
1️⃣ Make a decision to let go of the story for YOURSELF.
2️⃣ Write down all of the emotions it brings up for you, and why you want to let it go.
3️⃣ Write down what lessons you learned from the experience and why it is important to forgive yourself
4️⃣ Rewire your mind and emotions with the help of meditation. My “Liberate your Self from the Past” meditation is perfect for this – it is my gift to you, use it as much as you need.
5️⃣ Close all of this off by writing a letter to the person or struggle that caused the emotions. Then, burn it 🔥 (if you prefer not to burn, you don't have to but I like to use Fire element to let things go)
✍️ Question 3:
What are the things that you are grateful for this year?
(This questions helps to bring real gratitude and realize all the good things in your life — big or small, all of them count)
✍️ Question 4:
What you want to change or initiate in this new age or next 6-12 months ahead?
(Write all of the activities you want to try, plus the qualities, virtues and feelings you want to nurture during this time)
✍️ Question 5:
After you've finished with the journaling questions above, close your eyes and just imagine your dreams. Think on your wishes and send them up to the sky without any attachment.
(The aim is to dream and surrender, not to hold on tightly and become obsessed)
Why it is important to take time for a self-assessment?
Remember, you don’t need to know where or how to start. You don't need to know everything. You can start with a basic exercise. Every little steps counts.
When you do the free journaling exercise, you will realize just how many things have been holding you. You'll also tap into your intuition and hear your inner wisdom. We all have the intuition, the difference is if you want to meet her / him 😊
My wish for this birthday email is this: that it finds the souls who are ready to meet their inner wisdom and take little steps of Mindful journaling and meditation for themselves 🙏
