Last year, I was talking about the importance of meditation when I was delivering Mindfulness Workshops for corporate companies. I am beyond happy to say, this year, I am leading live meditations during my workshops in corporate environments.
To be honest, I would never assume employees would experience the benefits of meditation during a team event. BUT...the business world is changing.
It is amazing to witness how mindfulness is becoming a part of healthy business life.
Some companies are not only talking about the importance of meditation, but also helping their employees to put the theory into practice.
So where do you start?
One of the main questions that people ask me, around meditation, is “What kind of meditations shall I use?” and ‘Where do I start?”
If you are new to meditation, here are my 5 tips:
Give yourself time to get used to it. Keep the practice for a minimum of 14 days
Remember no one gets in the flow in their first meditation, it takes 10-15 sessions to stay in the moment
Guided meditations can help you to focus with ease in the beginning
Make sure you are in a comfortable seating position, if you have back pain due to trying to sit straight, your mind will go to pain…
There are various type of meditations , they all serve. The important thing is to find the one that helps you to connect with your inner wisdom
Which meditation technique is better for me?
Your needs may change overtime. Depending on what you are going through in your life, what are you struggling or what you want to create may require different types of meditations.
My meditation practice evolved overtime. Somedays I use it for calmness and balance, somedays I use it for clarity and somedays I use it for manifestation.
The important thing here is to remember: everything starts with you: your energy determines what you will attract during the day.
If you are feeling down, stressed or angry, you will attract the same during the day. Start with one small step; take 5-10 minutes to meditate, it has the power to change your day!
Here are the top 4 meditation practices that I use and I share with my clients;
1) 10 Min Powerful Meditation to Clear & Balance Your Energy for a Calm Day
It can be difficult to motivate yourself to start the day with a positive mindset. This type of chakra balancing meditations can help you balance yourself despite of noises, the media and your surroundings. When you start the day by giving yourself a short break to separate the different aspects of your life, you will have more clarity and productivity.

2) 10 Minute Forgiveness Meditation
During the day how many times you criticize yourself? How many times you spend your time and energy on the people that hurt you? Here forgiveness does not mean to accept the unhealthy behavior or hurt, it is to help you move on…
Forgiveness is one of the most important issues when it comes to the effect on our transformation. Our critical inner voice is always finding new topics to attack us for around unworthiness, reminding you what you have done wrong, what you can do better and so on.
I use forgiveness meditations to find answers, clarity and inner peace. Sometimes it requires more than one time to forgive, both others and ourselves. Therefore, I see huge results when my clients make forgiveness as a part of their routine.
3) Affirmation Meditations
Affirmations are very powerful to shift our belief, especially to train our mind. In a day, our critical inner voice takes the lead and do most of the inner talking. This type of meditations are specifically designed to rewire your subconscious from limiting beliefs to positive ones. Good news you can listen to it anytime, when you walk, when you sleep or when you cook!

4) Manifestation Meditations
Manifestation is a joyful journey when we are in the dance of action and surrender. This type of meditations will help you to focus on the feelings of the desired outcome rather than focusing on ‘how can I get there”.
It helps you to get clarity on your desires, and look for inspired actions that is guided by your inner voice.
