Happy International Women's day!

Today I want to devote this blog to share some useful information for my lovely women readers who are struggling with hormonal imbalances (like PMS), infertility, period issues and cystic breast or ovaries.

Since the beginning of this year, I decided to start paying more attention to what I eat and drink as a part of my spiritual journey. I was only focusing on hydration (drinking water) before, but as of this year I decided to also change my diet significantly. To be honest, my main motivation of these dietary changes was not health, environment or animals. Even though I care about those things, none of them motivated me that much to make significant changes😔. I watched many documentaries about this topic, they all made sense, but none of them really shifted me.

My main motivation has been the guidance that I get through my sessions. I was hearing these messages so clearly over and over so I decided to take the leap of faith and test them out. I changed my diet and after testing the outcomes, I can say that I have started to experience profound shifts in my healing abilities and personal strength.

During this period of change I have also been reading heavily on the topic of nutrition, trying to understand how food can heal us and, as Rumi says, “What you seek is seeking you”, I ended up attracting a dear client who is building her Culinary Nutrition business 🙏🏼 and she recommended to me a book.

Woman Code by Alissa Vitti

Woman Code is written by holistic health coach Alissa Vitti to show women how to maintain their health and vitality with a food-based program to rebalance their hormones. The writer herself suffered from polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and was able to heal herself through food and lifestyle changes. She wrote this book as a guide to help women who suffer from similar diseases.

She focuses on a 5-Step protocol and explains how you can implement them to your daily life:

  • Stabilise your blood sugar

  • Nurture your adrenal glands

  • Support your organs of elimination

  • Syncing with your menstrual cycle

  • Engage your feminine energy

Why am I sharing this book?

For me the scientific information related to food was invaluable in the book, especially first 3 steps. I found the feminine energy section a bit basic, however it is nice to see that she is mentioning topics like vision boards, manifestation and meditation in a hormone balance book 😀

Just after I read the book, one of my previous clients reached out to me to ask about polycystic ovaries and I shared the book name with her. And here I share it again with you readers in the hope that it sparks curiosity in you around mproving your health.
