How I moved from an anxious and unsatisfied life to a happier and calmer life

This month I want to share with you why I am obsessed with self-healing, and why I have made it my purpose…it all begins with my own story.

I was raised in a conservative society, where being successful was the only way for a woman to have a better life. I was a good student, made my parents and teachers proud, did my degree and starting an amazing corporate career. I got promotions, got married, bought a car and got a mortgage… Everything was looking idyllic in my picture-perfect life.

This is where my depression started.

I was deeply depressed even though I had everything desirable on paper. In order to hide my deep pain, I changed my hair color, started to hang around with toxic people to feel worthy and look for outside pleasures, such as shoes, compliments, more career success, an MBA…

I hit rock bottom during my divorce. I felt as though I was just a failure. Despite all my success, my ego was crushed. I started with therapy and tried various treatments. Week after week, I was struggling with the same issues, and the change was slow. I was suffering from what others thought about me, anxious & unhappy inside, trying to look perfect on the outside which made me feel like a complete fraud.

The critical voices inside me were telling me what a fraud I was, and it started to make me physically sick, which lead to a cycle of trying more treatments, painkillers and therapies….

Yes, this is how I started this journey. Desperately looking for someone to fix me… I was looking for the healing that would save me for 5 years.

After trying various healing and coaching modalities, I finally understood the truth: Only we can heal ourselves, it is possible and yet is very simple.

It took a lot of effort, and wasn’t easy, however healing is there for everyone and it is possible. I was able to move from an anxious and unsatisfied life to a happier and calmer life with big and bold changes.

I moved country and finally l felt at home, a place where I can walk safely in the forest every day with no worries. I changed my corporate career and found a job where I felt valued and aligned. I found deep fulfilling love and married my soulmate, which helped me to thrive in my transformation.

Through the process, I uncovered my own gifts as a healer to create profound change in my life and I learnt how to share it with others to guide their transformational journey. I found purpose in my life and dedicated myself to sharing what I experienced; healing is in simplicity and it is within you…
