How to transform guilt with self-forgiveness (and FREE meditation).

This week I want to talk about one of the topics that comes up a lot in client sessions, and that comes up a lot in my own healing as well…Guilt and Self-Forgiveness.

Unfortunately, there is no easy fix when it comes to our inner critical voice. It is always there. Either we carry it towards others (such as we had an argument, or a confrontation with someone or we realized we can react differently) or to our self (I should haven chosen the other option/ I could have worked more/ I could have eaten less etc). In any case this critical voice creates a heavy silent block in our system, which is called GUILT.

After delivering hundreds of sessions over the last 3 years, I started to see a clear pattern in the topic of guilt and on “how to overcome the heavy burden of guilt”. If you cannot reach out and get professional help, then here are some things that you can do at home by yourself.

1) Transformation comes with  “Acceptance and Consistency”

First, we need to understand that the critical voice is there, and it is ok to have it.

Moving from guilt to understanding ourselves is a mindset shift and it requires consistency.Instead of staying in the misery, we need to see all the mistakes as a part of life.

Unfortunately, most people want to have a quick fix solution such as “with one meditation I released all the guilt in my life😀”, “I read this book and there is no more guilt’…I wish that was true! I have spent almost 8 years of searching various healing techniques to remove my pain and in the end, I kept learning the same lesson… We have chance to learn from our struggle and evolve beyond…like a cocoon turning to a butterfly, we need to go through all the phases to become a beautiful butterfly.

It just requires consistent work rather than one time trial…

2) Every cloud has a silver lining, even if sometimes it’s difficult to see…

We all know that struggles can turn into life changing experiences, that every cloud has a silver lining, however it can be hard it to see it during the storm. If you cannot receive help, the best thing to do by yourself is journaling, you can ask yourself 2 simple questions.

1) “How this struggle or pain helped me?”
2) “What is this guilt teaching me?”

Believe me, when you write 3 pages (not 1 not 2, minimum 3 😀) you can easily go beyond the surface and realize what is happening there.

3) Self-forgiveness is the best cure to release the GUILT

There is a clear cure to GUILT: self-forgiveness.

The more you understand and forgive yourself, the less you spend your life stuck in guilt! However, please remember the consistency principle, it is a mindset shift, it requires your kind efforts.

You might ask, “What is the best way to create this mindset shift, what kind of effort I can put at home to forgive myself? “. For this one, I have a surprise for you 🥰

The best way is to use a self-forgiveness meditation, which can help you to connect with your inner self (rather than critical voice), so that you can feel the warm waves of forgiveness and move away from guilt. Guided meditations provide profound improvements even with people who struggle shutting their minds off through meditations!

I have recorded a 10 min Self-Forgiveness meditation for my clients. Last week, I shared 3 new meditations to support their journey during these times of uncertainty, luckily, I send it to some of the full moon session participants as promised in the live session. Their lovely feedback inspired me to share it with wider audience (yes I read each and every one of your emails🙏)

Here is my special gift to you - the meditation for forgiveness and self-love so that whenever you realize that you are blaming yourself or others, you can take 10 minutes to clear this energy before it turns into blocks…

With Love,
Gül
