My favorite books from the last few months

May is here. I hope you are enjoying the Spring!

I've just finished a massive decluttering throughout April... ready for a month of intense travel through May.

This month, I will be in 4 different countries visiting 7 different cities One of the things that I love while traveling, is reading. I am still following the old tradition of reading a book during travels (instead of watching a pre-downloaded tv series)

As I was looking for a new book to read, I realized that the last time I sent my book suggestions to you was January!

I received lovely feedback from those who read my “Top 5 Books that I read in 2021”. If you are new to my community, check our this blog post.

But today, I want to share with you my favorite reads from the last 3 months*!

*Please note: these books are not my top 3 book suggestions of my healing or transformation journey, I share those books on my podcast interviews, if you are curious and want to read about healing, hit reply to this email

If you want to read more on Spirituality...

Ramtha, The Mystery of Birth and Death: Redefining the Self

If you are new to the Ramtha series, then I suggest starting with “The White Book” series.

The author J.Z. Knight is known for the channeling of a spiritual entity named Ramtha, and the books are the teachings related to it. I read the series early in my healing journey (almost a decade ago!) that time it was revolutionary for me

Even though most of the spiritual teachings are normal and easy to find these days, I still enjoy reading Ramtha to deepen the knowledge and enjoy Ramtha’s wisdom.

If you want to enjoy a masterpiece novel...

Love in the time of Cholera

I read this book almost a decade ago! And thanks to my mother in law, I re-read it this year.

Last Christmas, I gifted a book to my mother in law, The Museum of Innocence by Orhan Pamuk (another amazing novel). I told her that this book (my gift) gave me the feeling of “Love in the time of Cholera”. She also told me it was one of her favorites. After talking on the story and characters and why we loved this book, I had this urge of re-reading this masterpiece, and once again it took me in.

Love is a strong feeling, as Sufis says “Love is the main reason of transformation”, we want to change and transform for the love…This book takes you through a deep love story…If you are looking for a novel that can give the affect of tv series (you want to keep reading to see what happens next), you'll enjoy this masterpiece!

If you are interested in society and politics...

Finland: The Country of White Lilies

This book was gifted to me by my lovely sister! It is a journalistic book dedicated to Finland, it is very popular in my home as it represents how to form a modern, secular country and society. It was one of the books suggested by Ataturk.

The ideas around education strike me the most!
