You've heard of the law of "attraction"...but what about the law of SACRIFICE?
After failed IVF attempts, I wanted to study the laws of the universe on a deeper level. I understood the theory behind manifestation...but I wanted to really embody the work, truly digest the meanings behind each law.
You might have heard of the famous “law of attraction” from the movie/book 'The Secret'. It is one of the most popular works on this topic. However, there are other governing laws that shape our reality than what is mentioned in this book/movie.
This week, we started my new online program Manifest Your Momentum: a 4 Week Journey to Align and Attract. Every week, we have a different module and in each module I decided to add the hidden laws of the universe that govern manifestation.
We will discover close to 10 different laws...most people are only aware of law of attraction, but there are many more.
One of the laws that we spoke about this week was The Law of Sacrifice. Today, I want to talk about this law, how I perceived it wrong and what it is really about.
What is the misunderstanding about The Law of Sacrifice?
The Law of Sacrifice operates on the premise that energy, time, and focus are finite resources. To make space for growth or achieve higher aspirations, we must release distractions, outdated habits, or even comforts that no longer serve us.
In many cultures, sacrifice has a negative meaning. We are wired with beliefs like “if you need to grow your career you need to sacrifice your work-life balance” or “if you want to be within a relationship with Desire and Love, you need to give up on the idea of marriage (cool alpha guys don’t marry)” .
It is classic “no pain no game” mentality.
For me, I had the belief that “if you want to build and grow your business, you need to postpone having kids” and "if you are an entrepreneur, you can't get government benefits like corporate employees, you need to go back to your job”.
I realized there are many beliefs that we take on about motherhood and job security, and it pushes us to make sacrifices that we're not even aware of. We do it subconsciously.
What The Law of Sacrifice really means:
It is about letting go of something of a lower nature to attain something higher, more valuable, or aligned with our true purpose.
Sacrifice in this context is a positive, empowering choice that aligns with our higher values or purpose. It’s not about losing; it’s about consciously choosing what serves our higher goals, aspirations, and well-being.
Let’s see some examples...
💼 Career Growth: You might sacrifice binge watching TV to study for a professional certification that could propel your career forward.
🥰 Personal Development: Letting go of toxic relationships or unproductive habits to make space for yourself where you read a self-development book.
🌿 Health and Wellness: Sacrificing unhealthy foods in exchange for consistent exercise and a balanced diet to achieve better health.
By understanding and applying the Law of Sacrifice, we learn to prioritize what truly matters, trading temporary comforts for lasting fulfillment and alignment with our highest aspirations.
How did I use this law?
After failed IVF attempts, I made a conscious choice to understand the healing and mindset of this journey. It required a lot of reading (almost 10 books just on the spiritual and mindset side), practiced the new modalities & teachings, new meditations, adopted changes in my business and invested in my relationship with my husband.
⏰ And all of those things required time and energy, so the law of sacrifice is right, time is a limited resource for all. I gave up watching TV, going out every weekend, reduced spent less time with people who kept telling me things like “if you let go – it happens, look my friend gave up after 10 trials and it happened”.
While people mean well when they give you advice, it doesn't feel that way for the person going through it. Usually, when a women is going through IVF, they don’t give up or let go. Their soul is crushed with unbearable pain and hopelessness,. It is not the energy of making peace and letting go. So, if you are giving such advice to someone, please first talk to your friend who tried 10 times. In my experience, none of the women who went through such a heavy journey says “I let go and it happened”, they all paid heavy consequences to let go 💔
How can you use this law to make feel Alignment in this new year?
This is what the participants are doing in Manifest Your Momentum: a 4 Week Journey to Align and Attract. They follow a simple mindset shift;
Making a conscious decision to focus on what really matters
Look at the areas of your life where you can give up things of a lower nature
Explore what you truly desire to start implementing things of a higher nature
Combine it with other laws of the universe (they work in harmony, all together)
Trust and surrender to the higher power
Hope this also inspires you to start with one easy step.
We completed the first week our online course, everything is recorded. If you join today, you can complete the first week during your weekend (implementing something of a higher nature 😊) and join us live next week.
