3 Things to Always Remember on Your Healing Journey

Life comes with ups and downs. Our self-healing path is often not a linear one. Some days we are thriving, we are sticking to our healing practices and feeling positive about our transformation.

Other days, we face new challenges and hardships that makes us question ourselves and our ability to grow. On these days, there are 3 things to ALWAYS remember about any healing journey.

✨ Let’s dig into those together now (and save this newsletter somewhere handy so you can look back to it in the times you need it in the future)…

🤗 All emotions are welcomed and needed

On your journey of self-discovery, sometimes you need to look at your dark sides. You may be angry, sad, grumpy, or down…All of these emotions are there to show you something.

Society forces us to hide negative emotions like anger or sadness. Some gurus are teaching how to be calm and in the flow all the time. The truth is, it is not possible to be calm or be positive all the time. Sometimes we go through trauma or difficulties which brings heavy emotions. An example of this is when we lose someone...when you lose someone, you need to go through grief rather than rushing to be OK.

This journey is not about perfection, life is all about learning and transforming.

We are all human, so all emotions are welcomed and needed.

❤️ Self-Love is an everyday activity…

One of the most common things that I witness in the self-development world is the lack of consistency. People want to change their life, they commit to transformation, they work on self-development. The main topic of self-development is self-love.

They adopt mindfulness or healing activities and experience that it works. They start to shift their life and feel good about themselves. When things get better, they just stop 😊 And after some time, they complain that they lost the magic.

Good news, once you've worked on yourself once, it is faster every time to bounce back. All you need to do is get back to “what is working without any self-blame”. Journaling, meditation or self-forgiveness, just bring the activities that helped you before.

Remember that self-love is an everyday activity, and 10 minutes a day can change your mood, your energy and eventually your life

🧘🏻‍♀️ Accept the seasons of life and listen to your BODY for guidance

We also have seasons in our life. Sometimes we need to run and create...and sometimes we need to rest.

Our body never lies when it comes to rest and if you ignore this calling, your body will take care of it. You might manifest cold, flu, or injuries.

When you practice self-love, ask your body and soul what it needs today, listen to your intuition and trust the divine timing.

Your body is wise and will guide you through the seasons of life.

I hope this reminds you to be kind and gentle with yourself as you journey through your own inner-healing journey.

It is not always easy, but you are not alone. Remember:

✨ We are ALL human — and ALL emotions are welcome and needed (not just the positive ones)

✨ Self-love is an every day activity — even 10 minutes a day can change your mood, energy and eventually your life

✨ Accept the seasons of life and listen to your body for guidance — your body is wise.
